Terms of the deal, expected to close in early 2026, were not disclosed
John Deere announced Dec. 22 it plans to wholly acquire New Hope, Pa.-based Tenna, a construction technology provider that offers fleet management and asset tracking software, from the Conti Group for an undisclosed amount.
Tenna’s platform is designed to automate and optimize construction operation workflows through better management of equipment and other assets. The company’s software products allow equipment owners to monitor their machines in near real-time and track telematics data for repair and maintenance planning across multiple manufacturers.
Deere said it plans to allow Tenna to continue to operate as a separate unit and will focus on growing the company’s business through its existing mixed-fleet business model.
John Deere parent company Deere & Co. said it had no additional comments. Tenna did not respond to requests for comment.
The deal is expected to close by February 2026, according to Deere.
